I can understand why you would come to this conclusion being a blogger and not an engineer. The elements of the song that you are describing are meant to be lower so that the vocals do stand out and sound nice. The setting that I put all the instruments in together is an Opera House.

I give it a raw feel with all the instruments and even the vocal stylistic change with no autotune to sharpen up my flat and off vocals. I wanted to give the listener the experience of being in that setting and what it would be like from a raw point of view as I’m telling my real-life story. I understand this review and the other one because you’re used to a more digital quantized sound that makes people think its natural vocals in their set environment.
