RapRecipe Review – You got a crazy flow definitely. The energy and passion in your performance is strong. Just felt the vocal mixing could’ve been cleaned up more!

Breeze Review – I feel that this is the reason that artist within the same genre should NEVER be a curator for the playlist of artist that they are apart of the same genre due to the pecking order.

Rap Recipe is a Hip-Hop artist ran playlist and is not thinking in the form of a fan of music but a fan of themselves in comparison to the type of music that they make.

The artist Lil Zib is the owner of this playlist and has determined that my FLOW is crazy alongside the performance of the song is well in tuned to respect the craft of Trap music sub genre of hip-hop but the creative decision to make the vocals be less crisp and clean as traditional Hip-Hop music has became the deterrent towards not allow this artist audience to enjoy the experience of what Breeze – Straight(Original Version) would of offered them.

We essentially do the very same artform so denying due to the creative choice to DIRTY my vocal performance to make the song have a more RAW and RUGGED vocal production was pretty intentional.

This was bringing sand to the beach because you “FELT” the same you brought is just better rather than allowing your audience to enjoy the experience of both essence of hip-hop.

Common practice among the hip-hop community so I’m not surprised and very well used to it.

A rating such as “It’s just not my style” would of been more understanding than saying the vocal could be cleaner.

What can you expect on Lil Zib Playlist called Everything Rap/Hiphop?

From our observation of the Everything Rap/Hip-hop, a song from a French speaking independent artist called KIBA has made it’s position onto this Artist curators playlist at the very last position that has even more distortion than Breeze – Straight(Original Version) but because it is spoken in a different language, it is not deemed as threatening nor is it placed in a position to be well received by the Artist Lil Zib audience.

We at Sykeside Records have decided to never allow our artist to place our music in front of this Artist playlist curators to be placed as they are not their to serve their audience but work on what is in their self-interest.

Make money tricking less well put together artist who only want a chance to get their music heard and if approved, give these artist a the lowest placement in their playlist to be heard by their audience.

There is no excuse as to why Breeze – Straight(Original Version) was not placed on Everything Rap/Hip-hop as it falls well within the category but even if it did get on that place list, the placement would be within the last ten minutes where their audience have already decided it’s not worth listening to anymore.
